WATER!!!!

Greetings from a very wet south Chile...infact, it's so wet, I may fnd myself stuck here for a while! My flight to Argentina leaves this Saturday, and the way things are looking...it may very well leave without me! Why? Well, Chile has been hit by very heavy rain...almost monsoon like, and the results are that 12 people are dead, hundreds missing and tens of thousands of people have lost their homes....I'm in Valdivia at the moment, about 12hrs bus ride south of Santiago, and the buses have canceled their trips because parts of the highway have been washed away...as well as a bridge...hmmm....

At this rate: will I ever get to Santiago????
